Surrounded by the idyllic countryside of Somerset the cottage is situated within a peaceful unspoilt village with a family pub Post Office/general store and children s play area on the village green. There is a vast choice of country walks from your doorstep and cycle routes to enjoy and explore. This cottage is an ideal holiday base to explore south Somerset and Dorset s many attractions including the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast as well as the excellent beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis which are around a twenty-five minute drive. Just four miles away is the market town of Chard which has a wide variety of shops interesting buildings and is well served with places to eat and drink. One mile away is Forde Abbey country house perfect for visiting for a bite at the tea room or wondering around the extensive gardens it has to offer. On entering the cottage firstly there is a welcoming kitchen/diner with solid oak units range cooker integrated fridge freezer dishwasher microwave coffee machine dining table and TV an excellent space to cater for your friends and family. One step up from the kitchen is the handy utility room with a washing machine and sink which joins to a separate WC. There is also a lovely and tranquil-feeling lounge with a TV/DVD surround sound system cosy wood burner and French doors opening out to the patio and garden. There are three bedrooms on the first floor one Master double with a TV and en-suite shower room with WC another double room and one twin bedroom with a TV. Upstairs windows are all at floor level so take care with children. Completing the first floor is a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside there is a private patio area with seating perfect for al fresco dining and barbeques.
