During your stay in this beautiful region, a visit to the famous Vaison la Romaine should obviously not be missed. With the Mont Ventoux literally as the culmination of this region, cyclists will have a great challenge. This villa has a large swimming pool (in spring and autumn the pool can be heated) with terrace and two covered terraces adjacent to the villa. The interior is pleasantly light in the modern living room with French doors leading to the terrace and an entrance to the kitchen which is fully equipped. And yet, when you go through the gate and walk in the beautifully designed garden it feels like you're somewhere between the vineyards, so quiet. A holiday house right in the heart of a village accredited as being one of the "Most beautiful villages in France". Indeed, Roussillon is a small village perched on a promontory and surrounded by splendid, ochre coloured cliffs. These richly coloured cliffs you see in the photos are hardly 100 metres from the house. You can visit the many other Most Beautiful Villages in France that abound in this region: Venasques, Gordes, Ménèrbes, Lourmarin, Ansouis, etc. Few houses in the surrounding area have such a pretty little terrace in the shade of a grape vine. The holiday house, which dates from the 18th century, has recently been renovated by the owner using original materials. The interior style remains local but well-kept. For all that, the house is very functional and has a well-equipped kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the upper floors. In addition, the small second floor terrace offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. There is no problem parking since it is directly accessible (50 m) and free for tenants. This really is a holiday house not to be missed. Other places to visit in the surrounding area: Provence Colorado, Sentiers des Ocres paths, the Borie village (corbelled stone houses), the Provence markets, art galleries and many wine cellars.

A little ways out of the town of Pertuis (2 km) you will find this holiday home in the Provençal countryside. Nice and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and semi-detached to the owner's farm. A perfect starting point for getting to know the Provence hinterland a little better. There is a swimming pool with a terrace and a free view over the surrounding area. The owner sometimes uses it, if you are not there. On the gravel terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ you can sit down and make plans for the next day, while the children are playing a game of foosball. Driving north, it won't be long until you reach the Parc National du Luberon, a rough nature reserve with incredible landscapes views. We recommend the route to Montfuron (27 km), with its gem of a windmill and St. Elzéard chapel from the 12th century. Als visit Lourmarin (16 km) and Cucuron (12 km). The area is scattered with these sleepy, picturesque little villages. Prefer to watch people? Then of to Aix-en-Provence (20 km) with its historical city center and famous plane-trees.
