This property is situated on the river in the village of Corfe Mullen which lies just six miles north of the harbour town of Poole. The area really does have something for everyone! Guests will feel like that they have been transported back in time as soon as they set foot in this Grade II listed property. The first room they will come to is the lounge a spacious room which offers a perfect mix of the old and new with its exposed beams large fireplace with wood burner comfortable seating TV/DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen is a truly unique space and has handcrafted wooden units a window seat fitted dining area and a Range oven and hob. On the first floor the main bedroom features a beautiful handcrafted four-poster double bed making it a wonderfully romantic place to sleep. There are then two further double rooms one of which has a slightly smaller than usual 4 bed. This room has a set of steep cottage-style stairs which lead up to the fourth bedroom a twin room which is situated in the eaves of the house and therefore has low ceilings and reduced head height. Also on this floor is a hidden away playroom which is accessed via steep ladder-style stairs. The main bathroom has a shower-over-bath and WC and there is also a shower room with shower and WC. Guests should be aware that this is a period property and as such has some low ceilings high thresholds steep stairs and uneven floors. The outside space is just as unique as the interior of this property and offers a shared island garden with plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ which is accessed via a walkway across the river. A second walk way leads over a stream to an open area which has several deep ponds which are home to ducks geese herons and kingfishers. On arrival guests may like to make themselves comfortable in the lounge/diner where there is a warming wood burner a TV/DVD iPod dock patio doors and a selection of books for guests to enjoy. The galley-style kitchen is located just off the lounge/diner and offers an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and coffee machine.
