This property is located just a short walk from the north-east shore of Coniston Water in the picturesque Lake District. This property is located on the owner s small far up a steep narrow hill in the picturesque Lake District National Park. It enjoys a fantastic location close to two of the area s best-loved features: Coniston Water and The Old Man of Coniston providing plenty of opportunity to enjoy scenic walks challenging hikes and a range of watersports for which equipment can be hired from the nearby Coniston Boating Centre. For a more leisurely perspective of the lake the beautifully restored steam yacht gondolas which depart from the town jetty are a fantastic way to spend a relaxing day on the water. Other attractions in or near to the village include The Ruskin Museum the Go-Ape high ropes centre in Grizedale Forest and Wray Castle. This handsome stone barn is situated alongside several other properties on the owner s farm and offers comfortable accommodation for five guests. On entering the cottage guests will find a hallway off from which there are two flights of stairs one going up to the living area and the other going down to the bedrooms. Taking the stairs to the first floor guests will come to the open-plan living space comprising a lounge/kitchen. The lounge area has a selection of seating enabling guests to sit back and enjoy the warmth of the log burner and perhaps watch a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen area is located just behind the lounge and is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge freezer washing machine / tumble dryer Dulce Gusto coffee machine and dishwasher.
