  • "Lovely, traditional and comfortable property."

Very spacious, bright and with amazing views. Nice it was Dog-free, as I have allergy and few properties are these days. Only slight downside was parking space outside which we found tight, but would not stop us from booking again. Thank you.

The property

Edinburgh House is a spacious and comfortable duplex apartment ideally located just 5-7 minutes’ walk from Salcombe’s pretty waterfront, shops, boutiques, pubs and restaurants.

Offering clear and uninterrupted views across the Salcombe Estuary towards Snapes Point and South Pool Creek, the apartment is arranged over two levels.

The sandy beaches of East Portlemouth and Millbay can be reached quickly and easily via the small passenger ferry that runs to/from the harbour all year round. The apartment forms part of a late 19th Century house which was converted into three apartments in recent years.

Arranged over two floors, the apartment is suited to family groups or two couples looking for a centrally located property with lovely views and off-road parking. A newly refurbished and extended kitchen is located on the ground floor with sleek fitted units and integrated appliances including an American style fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

The room extends out towards a bright and sunny breakfast area with table, four chairs and wonderful views.

A door leads out to the side of the house with access to garden and parking area.

Also found on this floor is the sitting/dining room with panoramic views.

The three bedrooms are split across the property with one ground floor double bedroom, and two bedrooms (a King-size and a twin on the first floor).

A shower room is located on the first floor and a stylish and well-equipped bathroom with rain-head shower is located on the ground floor.

To the front of the house is an attractive area of tiered garden (over four levels) with some stone terracing and garden furniture.

There is also a balcony at first floor level.

Off-road parking is provided for one medium sized car.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
