The property

Nestled within its own private grounds, surrounded by stunning North Wales countryside, this wonderfully appointed house offers a beautiful holiday home to be shared with your loved ones, on the fringes of St. Asaph.

This stunning property is accessed via a long track, opposite the Tweedmill Shopping Outlet and Llannerch Golf Course, and is well-suited to families and large groups of friends looking to celebrate a special occasion, or simply make the most of this enviable location.

Hosting 14 well-presented bedrooms over the first and second floors, many of which boasting handy en-suite facilities, you can truly make the most of each and every corner.

One of the first floor bedrooms occupies an en-suite wet room for those with limited mobility.

The ground floor is dominated by a large sitting room, which is the ideal space to gather in the evenings and relax, with a lovely feature fireplace, a huge, wall-mounted TV and a window seat that stretches across the deep bay window.

The most striking feature about the living room, other than its size, is the grand chandelier hanging from the ceiling, which is said to be from Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport.

Equally as grand and sociable is the large conservatory/dining room, a lovely space to enjoy a delicious feast and take in the outdoor scenery all-year-round.

Later, you can pour yourself a drink at the bar and move outside onto the decking to admire your surroundings, or find yourself a quiet spot in the snug or library and curl up with a good book.

Special occasions can be celebrated in the bar and conservatory area.

The gardens are massive and surround the house with a decked patio to the rear, gas heaters and wheelchair access for those less able on their feet.

You can have picnics on the lawn while the kids let off some steam, and later you can spend an afternoon at the Tweedmill shopping outlet or enjoy a round of golf.

There are many more attractions and useful amenities close by; St Asaph has a selection of traditional pubs and gift shops to discover, while the picturesque North Wales coast has golden beaches, beautiful walks and the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay.

You cannot miss an opportunity to explore the Snowdonia National Park during your stay, with the highest mountain in England and Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.

Choose this stunning retreat for an experience you'll never forget.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £1000.

Where you’ll be staying

ST ASAPH

Denbigh 6 miles; Chester 28 miles.

St Asaph, though small, was awarded city status in 2012, even though it boasts a population of little over 3500 occupants. Lying in the Vale of Clwyd, six miles between Denbigh and the coastal town of Rhyl, in North Wales, St Asaph enjoys a strategic location overlooking the rivers Clwyd and Elwy. The city offers delightful riverside parkland and a children’s play area with picturesque river walks where you may see kingfishers, sparrow hawks and buzzards. St Asaph is home to a historic cathedral, dating back 1400 years in areas and holding the reputation of being the smallest, ancient cathedral in Britain. It is also renowned as the location where the Bible was translated into Welsh in the 16th century. In September, the city comes alive with the arrival of the North Wales International Music festival, which takes place across numerous locations, culminating for the last few years in a television finale, broadcast from the cathedral. St Asaph offers numerous amenities and activities, from traditional pubs, to gastronomic dining experiences, numerous craft and gift shops and local clubs offering a 9-hole golf course, horse riding, angling, and crown green bowling, as well as a thriving leisure centre and the Tweedmill Retail Outlet. A superb holiday location for exploring this picturesque area of North Wales.
